A faith-based private school on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Three percent of every MELI order placed online through December 31 goes to them.

The Genius School is a faith-based private school in Indianapolis. Students follow what the school calls an Individualized Genius Plan — personalized learning built around each child’s strengths and needs.
It runs out of a building on Lafayette Road, and its motto is #UnleashYourGenius.

UPPER ELEMENTARY
AP Sciences
Anatomy and physiology, chemistry and physics, and political science, taught at a grade-appropriate level years before students would normally meet them.
PRE-K – GRADE 1
Accelerated Early Elementary
An enriched foundation built on critical thinking, creativity and social-emotional growth, with class sizes small enough that no child is carried along unnoticed.

Martial Arts
A daily discipline rather than an after-school club. The school teaches it for focus, resilience, respect and responsibility.

Faith is integrated across the curriculum rather than taught as a separate subject, with an emphasis on service, empathy and integrity.
Where the money goes
Almost nobody pays the sticker price.
The gap between what The Genius School charges and what its families actually pay is covered three ways: Indiana Choice Scholarships, scholarships funded through the Institute for Quality Education, and donors.
MELI is now one of the donors. Every order placed online through December 31 moves that number a little further from the families who would otherwise have to close it themselves.

MELI’s 3% is separate from anything you give directly. Gifts made through the Institute for Quality Education carry a 50% Indiana state tax credit — something MELI’s donation cannot pass on to you.
